My name is Dylan Czarnecki and I am very excited to be the teacher of this class! Before having the privilege of teaching this class my career has taken several different paths. I spent four years in the U.S. Navy onboard the USS Ramage ported in Norfolk, VA. After my service in the military I spent several years as a coal miner in Wyoming operating some of the largest heavy equipment in the world. Both of those careers were exciting and fulfilling in their own way, but I always felt the call to teach. Eventually I decided to enroll in the Elementary Education program with an emphasis in science at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
I believe that teachers have the responsibility to not only educate children, but to make it fun and engaging to them as well. To do this a teacher must understand the best way to reach their students in the classroom. The better teachers are able to engage the students and provide them with the best education possible, the more likely the students are to succeed, not only in future academic ventures, but also in meeting the challenges of an ever-changing world as they grow.
